Nature & Purpose of Position
The Honors College Office seeks a dynamic individual to assume responsibility for the daily operations of our office, such as:
- Serving as a receptionist and completing general office work such as but not limited to copying, scanning, and indexing, answering telephone calls and emails from students, parents, faculty and staff
- Entering data and processing all Honors College forms, maintaining the Master Student File, preparing semester reviews, tracking event attendance, and tracking educational student records for assessment/reporting.
- Performing other general office duties as assigned.
- Qualifications: Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and work with administration, faculty, staff and students. Must be able to multi-task and complete work within required timelines. Must pay attention to detail and respect student privacy when handling confidential information. Must determine priorities and manage time appropriately. Hard work and diligence are required. The student worker must be able to balance work and studies. Proficiency with Excel and Access Database is preferred. Experience with Banner and/or Campus Connect is a plus.
