Automotive Billing Clerk
EXPERINCE ACCOUNTING INDVIDUAL NEEDED
Currently our Bloomington Illinois Dealerships are looking for a billing clerk to add to the team! This position needs an individual Monday - Friday full time 8am-5pm.
Position Overview:
As a Biller, you will be responsible for accurately processing and handling all billing-related functions within the dealership. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that all sales, parts, and service transactions are properly billed and documented. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in processing deal paperwork, reconciling profits, and checking money and commissions to ensure all transactions are completed correctly.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate accurate customer invoices for vehicle sales, parts, and service transactions.
  • Process all deal paperwork, including sales contracts, financing agreements, and customer payments.
  • Verify and process all billing details, including pricing, discounts, and taxes.
  • Reconcile profits from vehicle sales, service work, and parts, ensuring accuracy in reported earnings.
  • Review and confirm commission structures for sales staff, ensuring accurate and timely payouts.
  • Handle billing inquiries from customers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and service department to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all invoices, payments, commissions, and billing adjustments.
  • Assist with month-end closing and collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile billing accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, financial regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.

  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Candidates must be reliable and must report to work every day on time
  • 1 year minimum accounting experience
  • Background in dealership accounting office a PLUS but not required
