Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Demand & Inventory Planner (North America) to manage the allocation of physical inventory to sales orders and ensure accurate post-shipment verification for seamless invoicing. This key role will oversee short- and long-term inventory planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the S&OP Manager, Logistics team, and Inventory Coordinator Analyst. The position will also have one direct report responsible for ERP data entry and receiving accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Allocation :
- Manage the short- and long-term allocation of physical inventory to sales orders, ensuring alignment with customer demands and operational priorities.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the S&OP Manager to optimize supply and demand planning.
- Oversee inventory availability to meet sales and delivery objectives effectively.
Post-Shipment Transaction Management :
Verify post-shipment transactions to ensure all orders are executed, completed, and fulfilled accurately.Resolve discrepancies in shipment documentation and inventory movement.Support Finance with accurate data for invoicing by ensuring post-shipment integrity.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with the Logistics team to confirm on-time delivery and proper inventory movement.Partner with the Inventory Coordinator Analyst to reconcile inventory variances and maintain accurate records.Act as a communication bridge between Operations, Sales, and Finance for process alignment.Supervision & ERP System Integrity :
Supervise one direct report responsible for accurate receiving entries in the ERP system.Ensure data integrity and compliance within ERP workflows, identifying areas for system and process improvements.Reporting & Continuous Improvement :
Generate inventory reports and analyze key metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.Drive process improvements in inventory management and allocation workflows to enhance overall efficiency.Provide input and insights into the S&OP process to improve planning and performance outcomes.Skills Required :

Required :
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or related operations.Proficiency in ERP systems (specific system experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.Demonstrated experience collaborating across functional teams.Supervisory experience, with the ability to coach and develop team members.Preferred :
Knowledge of best practices in inventory management and S&OP processes.Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Compensation :
