Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Support Lead to oversee and manage a team of sales support professionals while serving as the primary liaison between dedicated sales representatives and customers. As the single point of contact for inquiries from sales reps and customers, this role ensures timely and accurate communication, navigates internal functional teams for information, and verifies the accuracy of all pricing transactions. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales support professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for the sales support team.
Customer & Sales Rep Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact for dedicated sales representatives and customers, managing all inquiries and ensuring timely responses.
- Serve as the bridge between sales reps, customers, and internal functional teams (e.g., Logistics, Finance, Operations) to resolve issues and gather necessary information.
Inquiry Management:
- Manage customer and sales rep inquiries related to orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and product details.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer concerns, ensuring a satisfactory resolution and maintaining strong relationships.
Pricing & Transaction Accuracy:
- Verify the accuracy of all pricing transactions, ensuring they align with contracts, agreements, and approved pricing structures.
- Proactively address discrepancies in pricing or transactional data and work with functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams to streamline workflows and improve overall response times for inquiries and order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure alignment on priorities, customer expectations, and account management strategies.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sales support function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and implement best practices for managing inquiries, team workflows, and pricing verification.
Reporting & Accountability:
- Track and report key performance metrics related to inquiry response times, customer satisfaction, and pricing accuracy.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on team performance, customer concerns, and operational challenges.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a related role.
- Experience managing or leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of pricing structures and order management processes.
Preferred:
- Experience with [specific CRM/ERP system, if applicable].
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes and customer account management.
Compensation:
- $70,000 - $90,000
