Sam Pack Ford Carrollton is seeking a reliable and hardworking Body Shop Porter to join our team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our body shop running smoothly by assisting with vehicle movement, shop cleanliness, and customer service. Responsibilities :
Move vehicles in and out of the body shop safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized shop, including sweeping, trash removal, and general upkeep.
Assist body shop technicians with basic tasks, such as preparing vehicles for repairs.
Wash and detail vehicles before delivery to customers.
Ensure customer vehicles are parked and staged properly.
Provide transportation for customers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience in an automotive or dealership setting is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Highly professional and dependable.
Safety and customer service oriented.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
