We are currently hiring an Assistant General Manager for Sam's Anchor Café, l ocated in Tiburon, with a focus on coastal cuisine, seasonal fare and a vibrant bar program. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of managing a high-volume, full-service restaurant experience. Service training program is mandatory. Nights and weekends are required.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
As an Assistant GM at our restaurant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality focused experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all restaurant operations, overseeing the operation and staff to ensure the highest level of standards and efficiencies. You will champion the standards for quality and cultivate top-performing teams. The scope of this role includes leadership of both hourly and salaried team members, guest experience, financial performance, administration including payroll and labor, marketing and human resources, compliance to industry and company standards, and adherence to core philosophies.

ARE YOU THE ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in the Assistant GM role at our restaurant, several key skills are necessary. First and foremost, strong communication and leadership skills are essential. Remaining calm under pressure and making sound decisions quickly is crucial in the fast-paced restaurant environment. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills and good judgment to analyze and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
Being able to work closely with vendors and all staff members (both front and back of house) is necessary, as is the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. As the Assistant GM, you will work in a collaborative team environment, so being a team player and providing support to your colleagues is crucial. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to lend a helping hand are all qualities we value.
Basic computer skills are required to navigate software systems, order supplies, and complete administrative tasks. Additionally, the ability to perform mathematical calculations is important for financial analysis.

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
