Software Engineer III

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Software Engineer is responsible for driving the Samsclub Membership team from technical delivery point of view. He will be member of a high performing technical team working on designing solutions while partnering with other team members from cross platform teams to develop and maintain a high performing Solution for Samsclub Membership team.

About Team : What you'll do :

• Own all aspects of Application Development, Production Release and Operations capabilities and teams evolving each using a continuous production deployment and self-healing mindset.
• Engaged with team members to work on the solution under the guidance of the Staff Engineers and other senior leaders to deliver the best practices for the lifecycle of the complete Software Development.
• Works with Product teams and other business partners to better understand the requirements and make sure they are delivered in Members and organizations interest.
• Build win-win relationships. Engage internal and external stakeholders to align business and Information Technology strategies, develop strategic and annual roadmaps, and support investment planning.
• Manage all capabilities to defined service levels, key performance reporting, and standard processes while establishing and executing continuous improvement action plans
• Actively support and contribute to the development and consistent use of Technology processes and tools across the organization.

What you'll bring :

Experience identifying, developing and communicating differentiation opportunities and providing recommendations to business , product, engineering, customers and business executives. Ability to understand competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions.Solid understanding and knowledge of Cloud based application design, network architecture and storage; must have ability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration and benchmarking

Hands on experience in building the Java based application and micro services framework with one or other Cloud platforms.

Sunnyvale, California US-08479 : The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09930 : The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2 : 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
