- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services to customers.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services offered.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering calls or addressing customer concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is an advantage.
