Establish and maintain open communication channels with team members, develop team members relations programs and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures. Administer the team member disciplinary review process.
Demonstrate responsiveness to issues as they arise and ensure the right balance in terms of fostering constructive relationships, enabling change, and managing risk.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with team members; counsel and investigate team member work-related problems.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to work-related problems or disputes.
- Develop and implement team member communications programs, team member activities, and team member recognition programs.
- Coordinate and provide referrals for employee assistance programs.
- Assist team members with investigation and presentation at Employee Disciplinary Review Committee hearings. Recruit EDRICK committee members and coordinate all aspects of EDRICK program.
- Administer and recommend new team member relations programs.
- Provide expert advice on local and divisional team member relations issues.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of team member relations, policy, and employment law best practices.
- Ensure that the organization operates with the most up-to-date requirements by partnering with legal and compliance to ensure adequate adherence.
- Work in close collaboration with Human Resource team members to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application.
- Demonstrate proficiency in mediation and conflict resolution.
- Develop policy and procedure documents with analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to write complex communication materials quickly and accurately.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on team member relations preferred.
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills and extensive knowledge in HR-related legal compliance, employee relations, culture, and communications. Must have exceptional negotiation and mediation skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
