DESCRIPTION
Customer Service Representatives, or CSR's, will be responsible for addressing incoming calls, inputting new service orders and activities into our internal system, and acting as the connection between our customers and branches. CSR's must be able to communicate with customers and office staff effectively, while earning trust through clear and candid communication. They are patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. CSR's must be willing to learn, grow, and innovate when dealing with customer's problems and how to solve them. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. Customer Service Representatives must always ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
LOCATION
SAM Service, Inc. is based in Albany, Georgia with several divisions across the state of Georgia. Customer Service Representatives will report to the Albany corporate office every morning. Applicants for this position will need to live in the Albany area. Applicants that are considering or planning a move to this region are still eligible.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a high school diploma. Knowledge and use of information technology such as computers, tablets and smartphones is a plus. CSR's must be available for on call periodically. Prospective employees must pass a drug-screening before hiring. SAM Service, Inc. employees must submit to regular, random drug screening. Above all, an applicant must have the ability and desire to learn new technology, training and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
- Input customer information and work orders into in-house and online work order programs
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Go the extra mile to engage customers
