Job description:
As an Environmental Service Care Partner at Samaritan Bethany, you will:
- Maintaining the physical environment for a clean and comfortable home for the residents.
- Custodial, housekeeping and laundry functions of the organization.
- Picks up linen and garbage throughout the campus.
- Cleans offices, lobby areas, hair care areas, and bathrooms. This includes dusting, vacuuming, garbage removal, and replenishing supplies.
- Frequently pushes/pulls 10-100 pounds, e.g., supply shipments, vacuum, cleaning carts, beds, buffer, carpet equipment, garbage, linen, chair rack, furniture
- Frequently lifts/moves 10-50 pounds, e.g., supplies, garbage, tables, furniture
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of related work experience, preferably in long term care.
- Possess the ability to operate extractors, buffers, vacuums, washing machines, dryers, pushing/pulling garbage and linen carts etc.
- Follows/adheres to organizational policies and guidelines, including attendance.
- Able to do basic math.
- Able to read, write, spell, speak, and understand English
