Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm
Job description:
As a Life Enrichment Partner at Samaritan Bethany, you will:
- Assists with planning, organizing, and implementation of programs to meet a variety of mental, psychosocial, physical, and spiritual needs and interests of residents with a variety of abilities and limitations- including group programs, 1:1 visits
- Explores interests, preferences, and attempts to involve residents
- Meets with new residents in a timely manner
- Facilitate programs and foster a positive, supportive, and stimulating environment for residents.
- Prepare activity areas and materials, assist residents to/from activities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working with geriatrics
- Genuine empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to connect positively with residents, families, and staff.
