Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for a pediatrician to join our team, providing care at Mid-Valley Children’s Clinic and Samaritan Albany General Hospital, both in Albany, OR. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care.
Job Specifics
- Financial incentives include starting bonus, relocation, and loan assistance funds, all available as soon as your first payroll check.
- Duties include outpatient primary care, and nursery / inpatient call.
- Hospital is located across the street from the clinic.
- Cohesive, well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely.
- Samaritan Albany General Hospital has a level II nursery & 430 births per year.
- Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet.
- Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support.
- Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients
- Opportunity to work with medical students and residents
- 34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days, plus rotating evening clinic hours
Job Requirements
