What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at Samaritan Health System?
Base Pay $17.97 / hourThe base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
- Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.
- One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
- Computer experience preferred. Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to work under stress and complete duties sometimes with numerous interruptions.
- Must be able to write legibly and be able to document, accurately, type of care given.
- Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
- Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients, take vital signs and document.
- Ability to understand printed health related material.
