What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Staffing Scheduler position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range:
Days: $17.45 - $19.27
Evenings: $18.55 - $20.37
Nights: $18.95 – $20.77
All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- Coordinates the nursing division staffing needs with available nursing personnel to ensure efficient and effective staffing patterns.
- A minimum of 2 years prior healthcare staffing preferred.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software, with minimum typing speed of 50 wpm with 90% accuracy.
- Ability to compose correspondence and proof assignments to ensure accuracy of documents.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Detail attentiveness required.
- Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
- Previous experience in a long-term environment preferred.
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
- High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to work under stress.
Minimum Education Requirement –
High school level of knowledge preferred.
Associates degree in secretarial science or graduate of post-secondary business school preferred.
