What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Aide position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range:
Days: $15.00 - $16.56
Evenings: $16.10 - $17.66
Nights: $16.50 – $18.06
All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- High school level of knowledge.
- Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material. Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy. Ability to work under stress and complete duties sometimes with numerous interruptions.
- Must be able to read and write at an 8th grade level to document in residents record, I & O sheets, behavior record, etc.
- Must be able to write legibly and be able to document, accurately, type of care given. Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers. May need to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary. Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients and document.
- Ability to understand printed health related material.
- BLS certification preferred.
