What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTC Clinical Admissions Coordinator position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range: $26.50-36.50
Requirements:
§ A current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN License to practice in NYS.
§ Previous experience in a nursing home or post-acute care setting.
§ Preferred: Two (2) years’ experience as a successful Admissions Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility.
§ Works collaboratively with peers and other team members.
§ Must be able to communicate the services of facilities to prospective residents and to the community.
§ Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to handle inquiries tactfully and relate to prospective patients/residents and family/representatives.
§ Must be able to handle confidential information.
§ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; database skills preferred.
