Pay Rate: $19.07-24.31
Job Summary
Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces all types of kitchen, laundry and other types of equipment. Assumes responsibility for repair of wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds. Monitors kitchen and laundry equipment for proper operation. Completes preventive and corrective maintenance on all non-clinical equipment. Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Orders supplies, materials and equipment as needed. Works with other staff on projects as assigned.
- High school level of knowledge.
- Minimum of two years experience in maintenance type repairs, some plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
- Prior hospital maintenance experience desirable.
- Ability to operate a variety of plant equipment, hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of various mechanical equipment operation and repair. Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Possession of a valid New York State Driver’s license desirable.
