Pay Range
Days: $36.54 - $60.29
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts
Quality Improvement Specialist
- Associate’s degree. Bachelor’s preferred.
- Healthcare professional (e.g., RN) currently licensed in New York State
- Three years of acute care experience.
- One year of management or supervisory experience or other relevant work experience that included project management skills preferred.
- Previous experience with regulatory/accreditation agencies and requirements preferred.
- Knowledge of current local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification within three years preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis preferred
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Information management skills for word processing and for data entry, management and presentation, using a variety of software programs.
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information and to deal with persons under stress. Ability to facilitate groups/teams in process improvement activities.
