What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Aide position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range:
Days: $16.94 - $18.70
Evenings: $18.04 - $19.80
Nights: $18.44 – $20.20
All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
Minimum Education Requirement :
High school level of knowledge. Behavior Management training required within 6 months of hire.
Minimum Experience Requirement :
One year experience in either law enforcement, emergency medical services, or equivalent position utilizing Behavior Management required. Good organizational, priority setting and communication skills. Must be self motivated. Ability to intervene in potentially violent situations. Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, interact in a method that is appropriate for the age group to which the service is provided.
Minimum License Requirement :
BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire/transfer.
