Pay Range:
Days: $27.19 - $31.52
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care.
- Knowledge of good body mechanics and the ability to administer CPR required. Visual and auditory acuity with or without adaptive devices. Good interpersonal interaction skills.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of effective interactive techniques for the age groups to which service is provided (children to geriatric population). Must be proficient at working long periods independently without direct supervision. Must be able to assist patients in and out of bed as needed. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- RPSGT - Two years experience in sleep disorders.
- Must be licensed as respiratory therapist or respiratory therapy technician by the State of New York if CPAP, bilevel or oxygen titrations are to be performed.
- BLS certification. RPSGT – RPSGT credentials from BRPT.
