What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Pathologist position at Samaritan Health?
$10,000 sign on bonus OR multi-year loan forgiveness up to 4 years with $15K per year
Pay Range: $36.54 - $60.29
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
Duties:
- Qualified Candidate will perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Plan and implement a Speech Language Pathology Program for patients referred by appropriate medical staff.
- Assist with the with supervisor of support staff. Speech Therapist may be required to float between Samaritan’s 2 Long Term Care Facilities, Samaritan Keep Home and Samaritan Summit Village.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
- New York State license and registration in Speech/Language Pathology.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire
- Experience with Geriatric population.
- Eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as specified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Registration must be obtained within one year or as per state law.
