Pay Range
Days: $34.44 - 56.83
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
Job Summary
The individual must handle the daily management of the HIS (Hospital Information System) financial/clinical applications and project management for enhancements, upgrades, and new requirements of the software. Helps to determine the information needed and the necessary format and time lines. Uses software products (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, etc.) to transform the data into usable information. Provides leadership, help define strategic direction, provide excellent customer service and coordinate inter-departmental activities with other directors and managers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Business or a commensurate level of education and work experience.
- Three to five years' healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Two years Meditech or compatible systems experience is strongly preferred. This includes both functional and technical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with end users is key.
