Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a an on-call Pharmacy Tech, you are responsible for manipulative, non-discretionary functions associated with the practice of Pharmacy, under the immediate supervision and control of a licensed Pharmacist. In addition, the Pharmacy Technician performs a wide variety of purchasing, clerical, and record-keeping functions. This is an on-call variable days/evening position with variable 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts
This is an On Call position, working variable days and hours per week.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Hospital experience in unit-dose distribution systems and IV admixture programs.
- Computer experience with Pharmacy systems.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
