Are you interested in a career in healthcare? Samaritan healthcare’s diagnostic Imaging Department is seeking a full time Technologist Assistant! The Technologist Assistant is responsible for transporting patients to and from Diagnostic Imaging departments, ensuring the safety and comfort of the patients during transport, assisting the imaging technologists while they care for the patient, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain an efficient workflow. The individual is a valued and integral part of the Diagnostic Imaging team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in patient transport or related healthcare field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and transport patients safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
This is a full-time temporary position, Monday through Friday, 10am to 6:30pm, from March 3rd until August 22nd.
