Role Description
This is a part-time role for an Intake Coordinator, working from 7AM-3PM, every other Saturday and Sunday. Thisnis a Telecommute position. Intake Coordinator will report to thenoffice to complete shelter checks and any intakes that may be scheduled. Intake coordinator would also report for any emergencies in shelter or emergency intakes. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for handling intake processes, managing the crisis services hotline, and screening indoviduals for wmergenfy shekter and resources. The role involves answering calls, gathering necessary client information, assisting with paperwork, and completing intakes and shelter checks.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in working within a non-profit or social services setting is a plus
- Experience with hotline calls and/or crisis services preferred.
- Must be able to train in person, Monday-Friday for two weeks prior to first weekend shift.
