What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasonographer position at Samaritan Medical Center?
Job Summary:
Performs a variety of imaging and documentation procedures, including all Ultrasound procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Assists in various department examinations as ordered by physician. Assists in the department and its function. Assists in the scheduling of patients to the completion of the exam. Performs procedures and operates equipment at a technical level. Participates in Quality Improvement activities
Minimum Education Requirement :
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required.
Minimum License Requirement :
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)or Registry eligible. Current BCLS certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39.53 - $50.29 per hour
