To serve the purpose, mission, and vision of Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) by ethically consulting with prospective members with the objective of contributing to the growth of the membership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting through phone, chat, and email in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable manner with prospective members
  • Following up with prospective members to further assist in the decision-making process
  • Entering prospective member data into CRM for the purpose of servicing our prospective member base with excellence
  • Manage time and schedule in a way that assists in the department meeting service levels
  • Strategizing effective initiatives to reach new members and carrying out the implementation of those initiatives from conception to completion
  • Representing SMI at conferences, churches, ministries, etc.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Two-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience. (College diploma)
  • Staff are required to possess applicable knowledge to bring value to SMI in this role, know and utilize resources well, ask questions to ensure full understanding. gain and retain knowledge to keep up with changes, and accept and engage with training to grow knowledge for current and future responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of SMI Programs, Guidelines, and Interpretation of Guidelines
  • Basic Math (Basic)
  • Competing health care sharing ministries (Intermediate)
  • Knowledge of SMI's purpose, vision, and mission
  • Knowledge of SMI's internal processes (Intermediate) and procedures
  • Knowledge of organizational structure and departmental jobs and functions
  • Call Flow
  • Software : Zoho Desk (Intermediate) and Customer Relations Management (Intermediate), Five9 Phone system (Intermediate), Microsoft Office (Intermediate)
  • Additional Information

  • Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position
  • Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion

  • Pay Range : $19.70-$27.20 Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education.
