Samaritan Protective Services is a full-service risk management consultancy based in Northern Virginia. SPS serves a diverse spectrum of elite clients ranging from corporate to diplomatic and high net-worth individuals. Our primary objective is to provide customers with unparalleled global risk management strategies without compromise.
Samaritan is seeking talented protection practitioners to join our Executive Protection Division and serve clients on a contract and ad-hoc basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide close protection services as required, including residential security services.
- Serve as trusted advisor regarding security and risk management matters.
- Coordinate and oversee logistics, travel and transportation requirements.
- Conduct security assessments, advances and site surveys.
- Coordinate with public and private entities as required to conduct duties.
- Provide security for special events and client functions.
- Provide workplace violence mitigation during hostile terminations and times of increased vigilance.
- Monitor threat intelligence and develop risk management procedures and protocols.
- Travel both domestically and internationally.
- Coordinate with other departments and members of staff as required.
- Take direction and guidance from Security Manger or assigned supervisor.
Candidate Requirements:
- Agent Candidate must have valid Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Armed Personal Protection registration and Virginia CCW. This is non-negotiable.
- Graduate of a reputable training academy with specialty in Executive Protection.
- Former Military and/or Law Enforcement Background
- Agent Candidate will have a minimum of one year of demonstrated operational experience in Executive Protection.
- Personnel must pass a vigorous background, driving and drug screening.
- Agent Candidate must have General Liability Insurance of not less than $1 Million. This position is as a contractor, not employee.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities and fluent command of the English language.
- Agent Candidate must have the ability to work with limited supervision, make sound decisions and communicate with senior members of the organization.
- Must be physically fit and display a neat, capable and professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Former Military and/or Law Enforcement Background
- Associates Degree or higher, preferably in a related field (Security Management, Criminal Justice, Etc.).
- Experience in the Hospitality industry a plus.
