Product Designer

Mountain View, California, United StatesRole We are seeking a Product Designer to drive the design and user experience of the Samaya product. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our users have a seamless, intuitive, and delightful experience while interacting with our platform.In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end design process and collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and product managers to create a product that is both functional and beautiful. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong bias toward action, and can prioritise what truly matters for our users.Responsibilities Lead product design by taking ownership of user-facing experiences, designing a cohesive and seamless productCollaborate with founders, designers, engineers, and product managers to translate concepts into user-friendly designsUnderstand user needs by engaging deeply with our expert finance users to understand their workflows and pain pointsIdentify key areas for improvement, prioritise the most impactful changes, and execute iterativelyTake ownership of maintaining and evolving our design system using tools like FigmaDrive design excellence by ensuring Samaya’s product reflects the highest design standards, balancing form and functionExperience RequiredMinimum of 5 years experience as a lead or influential designer, owning the design of user-facing products (consumer or B2B)Direct experience building a product similar to Samaya’s, with ownership of key design decisionsProven ability to lead the design of features or a product, ideally in a fast-paced startup environmentExpertise with Figma and other design tools, with a bias for action and quick iterationStrong collaboration skills, working effectively with engineers, founders, and product managersExceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise effectivelyPreferredExperience working in early-stage startups and familiarity with design systems.Experience mentoring or managing other designersCompensation The cash compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
