About the Role:
This travel CT imaging specialist position is available for 13 weeks, working 40 hours per week, primarily on nights (8 hours). The ideal candidate will be able to prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document scan sequences and monitor video displays
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring safety and following radiation exposure prevention procedures
- Produce diagnostic images, report important information to Physicians, and update patient records
- Organize daily procedure schedules, monitor radiographic supplies, and perform administrative tasks
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
