Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
Samba Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Jersey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations and administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast.
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Produce diagnostic images, report important information to Physicians, and update patient records.
- Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
