Summary
Sambatek is seeking a Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our growing team. You will join a talented group that is completing exciting and challenging projects for a wide range of clients. The team has built significant momentum across a variety of services and project types. We are looking for the right person to increase our experience and capacity, so we can capitalize on our strong momentum.
- Work Location : In-office for initial training period, hybrid option post training
- Pay : Salary (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)
Responsibilities
Support both municipal and industrial water / wastewater projectsDevelop construction documents, specifications, technical reports, and memosCollaborate with colleagues in meeting project goals and deadlinesDefine project tasks, schedule, and resource requirementsSupport successful management of scope, schedule, and budget for all projectsComply with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies, and proceduresProvide support with project proposals and client managementTravel as required for project meetings, client meetings, or to construction sitesAssist in coordination of plan review and approvals with municipal and regulatory agenciesProvide on-going communication with the client related to the project and tasksEstablish goals for the projects and tasks, and assist with achievement of QA / QC goalsRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMinimum of 4 years of experience in water / wastewater engineering related to municipal and / or industrial systemsDemonstrated strengths in self-motivation, communication (verbal and written), leadership, organization, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently or collaboratively, to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects with strong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
Experience in mechanical, chemical, and biological water and wastewater process improvementsProject experience in municipal and / or industrial infrastructure design and construction observation / inspectionStrong technical skills in analysis and design related to water and wastewater engineering, including the ability to evaluate existing systems for deficiencies, provide recommendations, and prepare engineering reports and cost estimatesMedium to large diameter infrastructure experience involving sewers, watermains, pumping stations, and water storage systemsExperience working with diverse multidisciplinary teamsExperience independently managing project tasks, deliverables, and timelinesExperience with project bidding and construction administration, including RFIs, payment applications, and change managementExperience in leading or participating in design and construction meetingsExperience managing and mentoring junior staff and techniciansPhysical Demands and Work Environment
