Position Summary:
This position is for C.S. Kimeric which provides service and consumable sales for equipment designed and fabricated by SAMCO and other industry vendors.
Position Responsibilities:
This individual is responsible for promoting and selling our water treatment products and services to commercial and industrial clients within a 250-mile radius of Buffalo.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
- Comply with all customer and company policies, work, and safety rules
- Provide timely support to our customers on a day-to-day basis
- Provide consistent follow-up on active projects, leads, and opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, SAMCO/CSK Engineering, Proposal and Service departments
- Strive to uncover business opportunities with current and potential customers on a continuing basis
- Assess client needs with a fit assessment and recommend appropriate water treatment solutions
- Provide feedback and direction regarding marketing tools and marketing opportunities
- Provide direction and drive the company into areas of market growth
- Support the preparation of estimates, quotations, and proposals
- Set up new BON information in database
- Facilitate and participate in sales meetings and/or customer presentations
- Follow other job-related instructions and perform other tasks as requested
- Provide support/service to sales representatives and partners
- Visit current and potential clients to develop projects and key customer relationships
- Provide product/service training to new and existing sales representatives, customers, and partners
- Oversee the process of proposal preparation and provide leadership and guidance as required to provide winning proposals on a timely basis
- Manage the CRM system to ensure accurate information and assist in meeting sales goals
- Stay informed about various water treatment technologies, including filtration systems, softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and chemical treatments
- Keep up with industry trends, competitor products, and changes in regulations related to water quality
Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment
- Customer site visits including industrial construction sites and fully operational manufacturing plants
- Travel out-of-town and overnight
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred
- 3 years of experience in water treatment or related field is preferred
- Good computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to negotiate and close project sales
- Ability to understand technical specifications and product features.
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events
Required Qualifications:
- A valid U.S. driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- Standard physical requirements for typical office environment
- Ability to travel by car, plane, or other modes of transportation. This could involve long-distance travel or frequent trips.
- Ability to navigate construction sites, which may involve walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs or ladders, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, as construction sites can be outdoors.
