Job Description
Same Day Road Test provides driving skills tests needed for customers to get their driver license in Michigan. We have 8 locations in Michigan. Work with a small team of road testers out of our Lansing, MI location in an unique industry. We add over 20,000 safe drivers to our communities every year. This is incredibly important work and we’re looking for an amazing road test examiner to administer road tests year round. This position does not require prior experience.
Road Test Examiner duties:
- Maintain paperwork for road testing
- Keep consistent schedule for road test appointments
- Administer both the parking and road portions of road test
- Retain detailed notes for State of Michigan paperwork
- Maintain a clean vehicle that is shared with other road test examiners
- Help with operational tasks as needed at the location
- Communicate with Road Test Manager on a daily basis
- Manage and organize paperwork for submission to State of Michigan
- Provide feedback at end of road test so customers know why they passed/failed
- Provide customer service as needed
Customer Service Representative Requirements:
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Meticulous paperwork and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a good driving record (Never exceeding 6 points)
