Samet's Finance Team is seeking an Assistant Controller to play a key role in managing the company’s financial systems and maintaining accurate accounting records
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
- Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Supporting preparation for monthly meetings
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing
- Contributing to annual audit preparation
- Helping with the annual budgeting process
- Maintaining and reviewing internal controls
- Assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience in assurance services, or 2-5 years in a similar accounting role in the manufacturing industry
- Strong computer and software skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new systems
- Proficiency in Excel is essential
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Education:
- B.S. in Business Administration or Accounting
