Description
The Testing Coordinator provides administrative support to the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations with a primary focus on coordinating the scheduling and management of alternative testing accommodations and test proctoring.
Job Duties
- Manage and approve requests for alternative testing.
- Assist students with scheduling alternative testing as needed.
- Serve as liaison with faculty to receive and return completed exams.
- Proctor exams both in-person and through camera feeds.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified proctors (graduate student employees) and ensure they adhere to student employment guidelines.
- Provide monthly reports on testing statistics.
- Participate in annual assessment for testing services.
- Manage all testing supplies and equipment, including assistive technology and relevant software.
- Monitor and assess student testing experience and ensure compliance with ADA standards to meet student accommodations.
- Participate in relevant staff meetings and support wider office functions as needed.
- Stay abreast of trends and best practices in alternative testing.
