Assists practitioner in assigned Urgent Care and / or specialty clinic(s) in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders / refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results. Performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a physician or mid-level practitioner.

- EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- Six (6) months related experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
- Experience and / or training with medical terminology preferred.
- Lab / EKG experience preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.

Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and / or communicating with patients and caregivers. Current Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Intermediate or Paramedic licensure required.
ACLS required within six (6) months of hire.
