Key Responsibilities:
Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones and manage incoming communication
- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
- Communicate office policies and procedures clearly and kindly
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes
Insurance & Coordination Support
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Gather and confirm patient insurance information
- Assist patients in understanding basic insurance questions
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper scheduling
Administrative & Compliance Support
- Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix Ascend
- File and organize documentation and forms
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy
- Support follow-ups for continuing care and unscheduled treatment
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with in-office team to keep the day running smoothly
- Participate in team huddles or check-ins as needed
- Communicate professionally with patients, team members, and leadership

Qualifications:
- 1 year of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience
- Dental experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software preferred
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a dental office environment
