This is an on-site position, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Dentrix and be proficient in chairside assisting, infection control, and patient education.
Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday through Friday

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to be the right hand to the dentist in our fast-paced, patient-focused clinic. Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments and materials are readily available.
- Take and process X-rays in compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain proper infection control protocols.
Patient Care & Education:
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and upcoming procedures.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed before, during, and after their treatments.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow to optimize efficiency.
- Perform basic front desk duties as needed, including verifying insurance information and processing patient forms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, general dentistry procedures, and infection control standards.
- Proficiency in Dentrix for managing patient records.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
