Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year commitment
• Must be ableto commit at least 3 weekdays
• Part-time/full-time available
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We have one provider in the clinic and an average of 40-50 patients per day.

Duties

• Checking patients in and out, scheduling follow-ups, collecting copayments
• Rooming patients and taking medical history
• Electronically sending prescriptions
• Prepping for biopsies, surgical procedures, and other cosmetic procedures
• Processing pathologies, entering biopsies, and informing patients of lab/biopsy results

Experience

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times
