Job Overview

Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with procedures and surgeries in collaboration with the surgical team.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating room (OR) procedures and protocols.
- Experience with dermal fillers and their application.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and results interpretation.
- Knowledge of family planning practices.
- Understanding of ophthalmology-related nursing care.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is highly desirable.
- Skills in gastric lavage techniques for patient care.
- Competency in using neonatal ventilators for critical care situations.
- Experience or training in memory care for patients with cognitive impairments.
