We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our Agile team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting Salesforce applications that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate has experience developing scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce automation tools, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-system integrations. Additionally, candidates with prior experience in the life insurance domain or agency-specific solutions are preferred, as understanding industry-specific processes and data models will accelerate delivery and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop Salesforce applications that align with business and technical requirements
- Ensure the quality delivery of scalable technical solutions using industry best practices
- Support the full development lifecycle including build, unit testing, deployment, and post-production support
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, including MuleSoft
- Collaborate with QA team members to triage, resolve, and prevent defects
- Develop and refine automation tools to streamline business processes
- Configure standard and custom Salesforce objects to support data model needs
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Feature Refinement
- Provide clear, consistent communication of status updates and technical solutions via Azure DevOps
- Work closely with scrum master, product owner, technical lead, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on solutions and timelines
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 1 years of experience
- Proven experience developing custom Apex classes and triggers
- Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL and understanding of Salesforce data querying
- Experience configuring Salesforce automation including Flows and Process Builder
- Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft
- Experience performing bulk data migrations
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Understanding of Salesforce Lightning architecture and development best practices
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile development methodologies
- Salesforce Platform App Builder and Administrator certifications
- Experience using Azure DevOps for work tracking and pipeline deployments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the life insurance industry and agency systems
- Experience with Git for source control and collaboration
- Proficiency in developing custom Lightning Web Components (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with data transformation and Snowflake integration
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Delivered at least one Salesforce implementation from requirements through post-go-live support
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Completion of Financial Services Cloud Specialist Superbadge

Pay Transparency Verbiage: Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position.
