Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to prevent over-serving and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
- Stay updated on new drink recipes, trends in mixology, and seasonal offerings.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
