Summary
Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, the A/P Administrator will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities **
- Process vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Verify accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
- Schedule and prepare payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures, including reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
