Description:
The Director of Radiology provides leadership to the Radiology department by planning, organizing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operations of the department including the Outpatient Diagnostic Center. The responsibilities are to be completed in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations to assure the highest degree of quality imaging comparative to State and National benchmarks. Develops the capital and operating budget and is responsible for managing the department within budgetary constraints. Coordinates performance improvement activities and quality improvement for the Radiology Department.
Requirements:
- ARRT Registry required.
- Advanced level registry in CT, MRI, Nuclear Med or Ultrasound preferred.
- Bachelors of Science in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Computer knowledge, data analysis, and data presentation.
- Ten years in the field of Radiology with at least 2 to 4 years' experience in supervision and management of Radiology.
- Knowledge of business, charge masters, and financial practices.
