Description:
The Radiologic Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of a broad range of ages through the use of Diagnostic X-Rays, including, but not limited to fluoroscopic, radiographic and portable procedures to include OR procedures. These images assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes. Responsibilities include providing back up support to co-workers as appropriate, orient new employees to the department, mentor Radiology students, assist SRMC Radiology team to deliver the highest level of operation and clinical standards, and effectively demonstrate the mission, vision, and values of SRMC on a daily basis. The Radiologic Technologist's duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Currently ARRT registered in Radiography
- General knowledge of other imaging modalities preferred
