Job Description
The Regional Director will be responsible for managing distributors, field sales reps, and District Managers within the Northeast Region to meet planned territory sales objectives.
This position requires that the incumbent secure adequate distribution channels within the Region to ensure proper coverage and market penetration.
The Regional Director is also required to assist their direct supervisor in developing realistic sales plans that will ensure profitable long-range growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop positive relationships working with the field sales team.
- Secure orders through phone and personal calls on traditional distributors, national accounts, w.d's, equipment specialists, buying groups, oil jobbers, and other customers within the assigned region.
- Plan weekly management and sales promotion activities to ensure key distributor and customer relations are maintained.
- Hire and retain the best sales talent for the region by networking and creating relationships in the industry.
