Job Summary:

• Laboratory technicians in the Samson Extracts Quality Control Laboratory testraw hemp material to ensure compliance, in-process material to validate production and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute laboratory protocols and procedures under the supervision of the Lab Manager
• Utilize good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentified samples
• Log data, maintain physical and electronic records
• Prepare samples and complete QC duties
• Perform routine and non-routine equipment maintenance and calibration
• Monitor inventory and supplies

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associates degree in a science related field or 2 years of equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of logging, organizing, and analyzing data
• Working knowledge of standard laboratory protocol
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Solid work ethic with good attitude
• High level of integrity
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while successfully managing multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn
