What are the responsibilities and job description for the CEO - Smart Manufacturing position at Samsonrose?
Samson Rose has been exclusively engaged by a VC client of ours to help find a CEO / Founder. This person will help start and lead a software-driven, new-age manufacturing company.
This is a brand new company with a novel approach to manufacturing that will revolutionize how things are done. The technology that has been designed enables rapid development cycles that are especially relevant for several industries.
The person we are looking for :
- Has experience as a senior manufacturing leader (VP or above) at a software-driven manufacturing company.
- Has a manufacturing engineering background and has built manufacturing systems.
- Has a strong software background.
- Has seen large-scale manufacturing within industries like automotive, aerospace, defense, or similar.
- Is a builder of companies, systems, and teams. Ideally has startup experience with a culture of scrappiness and moving fast.
- Must be passionate about building manufacturing in the US.
- Is happy being the first dedicated person (founder & employee) attached to this project.
- Willing to work with the VC team to get the company, idea, and details finalized to secure the first round of funding.
